Service Rules & Customs Notes

We clarify the service and customs principles up front, so the rest feels easier: through our French company, we help with purchasing, receiving and shipping while keeping product information and documents as clear and declarable as possible.

Cases that fit our service

  • You have a clear product link, seller information or purchasing request
  • The item can come with an official purchase record or receipt
  • Product information is clear: description, quantity and value can be confirmed
  • The shipment can be declared normally when sent to Taiwan
  • If you are unsure whether it can be bought or shipped, we can first assess feasibility

Situations where we will say no first

  • Purely private parcel receiving with no purchase or official transaction record
  • Products whose origin, description or value is not clear enough for confident declaration
  • Grey-area reshipping, regulatory workarounds or unclear responsibility
  • Requests to under-declare value, change product descriptions or split shipments to avoid tax
  • Using us as an unlimited warehouse that accepts anything

What you should know about formal customs declaration

Shipping to Taiwan may require documents or declarations on both the France export side and the Taiwan import side. Here are the main points in plain language so you can anticipate timing, cost and documents; carriers, brokers and customs authorities still make the final determination.

France export side

  • Above €1,000 in value, a formal export declaration (EX1 / MRN) is required.
  • The formal export document is also the key proof of export for VAT refunds on higher-value goods.

Taiwan import side

  • Prohibited items cannot be imported.
  • Above NT$1 in value, a formal declaration is possible.
  • Above NT$50,000 in value, a formal declaration is mandatory.
  • Items under import regulations, subject to commodity tax, or requiring permits / quarantine / inspection require a formal declaration.
  • A formal declaration can serve as an input voucher and offset business tax.
  • Both companies and individuals can file a formal declaration.
